MedAssist ("we", "us", "our") operates a platform that trains Ethiopian medical graduates to work as remote administrative virtual assistants for US medical practices. This policy describes how we handle personal information across our public website, applicant portal, training portal, and client portal.

We do not collect, process, or store patient health information (PHI) anywhere on this platform. Any work involving patients is performed inside our clients' own secure medical systems.

Applicants & VAs: name, contact details, city, date of birth, education history, CV, English writing samples, a short voice introduction, and training progress.

Client practices: business contact details, specialty, state, account information, messages with our team, and documents you choose to upload.

Automatically: basic technical data such as device and browser information used to keep the service secure.

To review applications, deliver training, match qualified VAs with practices, operate your account, respond to your messages, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.

Access is restricted by role, sensitive files are stored in private storage with time-limited signed links, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry practices.
